Hepatitis?C?in?2025: Innovations in Management and Therapy highlights a paradigm shift in HCV care: from prolonged specialist-led treatment to globally accessible care driven by novel DAAs, simplified regimens, point-of-care testing, and elimination-focused public health strategies. Despite persistent challenges?resistance, stigma, access disparities?the path to eradication appears clearer than ever. By 2025, chronic hepatitis?C (HCV) management has entered a transformative era?driven by groundbreaking drug approvals, simplified treatment regimens, innovative diagnostics, and strategic elimination efforts aimed at global eradication. Drugs like ravidasvir, produced via South?South cooperation, have gained WHO essential medications status and shown efficacy in genotype?3 patients, with ongoing efforts to introduce them in Thailand and other countries. Such initiatives strengthen test-and-treat strategies, fostering progress toward the WHO's 2030 elimination target.
